Marlee Busching is a Partner and Head of Development at Milestone Development, where she leads new development efforts across New York State and beyond. Prior to joining Milestone in September 2025, she spent nearly nine years at The Hudson Companies, rising from Assistant Project Manager to Managing Director. During her tenure at Hudson, she oversaw a diverse portfolio of market-rate and affordable housing projects totaling almost $3 billion in total development cost, managing all phases from pre-development through asset management. Her experience spans both new construction and preservation projects, including mixed-income rentals, supportive housing, and large-scale affordable housing developments.

Marlee holds a Master of Arts in Historical and Sustainable Architecture from New York University in London and a Bachelor of Arts in History from NYU, where she graduated cum laude. She is actively engaged in the real estate industry through her service on the NYHC Advisory Board and as a Board Member of Building Skills NY, and she participates as a mentor in the WHF Mentorship Program. Her project experience includes notable developments such as the 950-unit Gowanus Green in Brooklyn and the nearly 1000 unit La Central Development in the Bronx, demonstrating her expertise in managing complex, large-scale urban projects that serve diverse communities.
