Danno Lemu

Danno Lemu is a Vice President at Milestone Development, where he leads underwriting and project management across the firm's acquisition and development pipeline, placing a particular emphasis on producing thoughtful, community-oriented development.

Prior to joining Milestone, Danno held roles in real estate development, public-sector economic development, and housing policy at Related Companies, the D.C. Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development, and HR&A Advisors. Earlier in his career, he was a Community Organizer with the Industrial Areas Foundation, where he led a coalition of civic organizations in Washington, D.C. working to expand and preserve affordable housing, and a Senior Research Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Danno holds a joint Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
